Events February 10-12, 2012 Christian Camping Jamaica wishes to make
you aware of a training weekend, to be held February 10 - 12, 2012 on
the topic of Developing your camp/retreat theme From
concept to effective implementation
Target group: Small teams/ persons responsible for
program planning & development in their respective camps/church
ministries/organization.
Main Presenter: We have invited Lana Jernigan, past
Board member of CCI/USA and Ministry Director at Camp Dixie, North

would have
1. Been able to clearly state the desired
outcomes for their Summer Camp/Church Retreat
2. Been able to choose and
appropriate their theme to the desired outcomes
3. Received exposure to other camps’ theme
and application thereof
4. Through a guided process from the
workshop leader
· Developed a brainstorming process that
will allow their team to work together on theme and curriculum development
· Developed new teaching methods and a
curriculum process to guide campers into seeing how they fit in the ongoing
Story of God.
· Processed some of the ideas on how to
apply their theme to activities, props, facilities, hand-outs, preparation
of staffing, PR, meals, etc

Cost: (includes accommodation, 6 meals and program) $5,500 per person for paid up member
camps and $6,500 per person for non-members
